Travelling Speaker Series with Laura MacNeil
On Saturday, November 18th, 2023 from 2-3 pm, the AGS Travelling Speaker Series will host Laura MacNeil for a free public geology talk entitled “Trees, Trackways and Bones: Globally Important Fossils of Prince Edward Island”. The presentation will take place in person at Harrison Trimble High School Auditorium in Moncton, NB or online. Full details can be found on the Travelling Speaker Series page. Best Guidebook Series award
AGS has been awarded the Outstanding Geologic Field Trip Guidebook Series award by the Geoscience Information Society “for organizations that have made continued contributions to the geologic field trip over time.” This includes the recent suite of field trip guidebooks that were developed for the GAC–MAC–IAH-CNC–CSPG 2022 meeting. A big congratulations to all the authors and AGS!
AGS 50th Colloquium and Annual Meeting
The upcoming 50th Colloquium and Annual Meeting will be held in Moncton, New Brunswick on February 2-3, 2024.
