At the Geological Survey of America Conference in October 2023, Brian Hebert was awarded the Harrell L. Strimple Award from the Paleontological Society of America for his outstanding contributions to paleontology. Brian has and continues to be a fixture in the Atlantic Canadian Paleontology community, with a keen eye for fossil finding that many of us envy. His accomplishments speak for themselves. He is also the first Nova Scotian to be recognized for this international award. Congratulations Brian!
